The Captain's Report

January 1, 2003 Santa Barbara, CA. Vol. 3 No. 1
The Captain's Report, a returning feature of The Captain's Log, is a newsletter bringing the latest news of the Seaview and her crew.

Yes... The Captain's Report is back. As we start into a new year, I thought I'd give the Captain's Report another try. While the previous issues were on a weekly schedule, it's too early to say if that schedule can be maintained. But we'll give it a good try. I'll be bringing back the VCR alerts for shows that have our stars from Voyage in other roles. Also returning will be the poll questions along with all the news that "may or may not" be real...

So... I hope you enjoy the return of the Captain's Report and as always, I look forward to any items that may be sent to me for inclusion in the Report.

Weekly Poll
As 2003 begins today, it is the time that we all make our New Year's resolutions. However, the crew of the Seaview is having a hard time coming up with their resolutions for 2003. So... instead of a poll question, to start this new series of Captain's Reports, I'm asking each of you to help the crew and prepare a list of resolutions they should make. I'm sure you can help them with some good ones!!!

Your suggestions should be made by private email.(off list) and they will be included in next weeks Captain's Report.

As we begin another year, it's the time for predictions for the new year 2003. So, I've contacted the best psychics to see what's in store...

1. Voyage will return to the Sci-Fi channel
2. Episodes will be shown uncut.
3. The Voyage series will be available on DVD
4. More new stories will appear on the Captain's Log in 2003.

100,000 HITS
Earlier last week the Captain's Log has now registered over 100,000 hits. I want to thank each and every one of you for continuing to visit the Log. I know that 2002 has only had a limited number of updates. I want to thank those who have sent stories last year. I had hoped to have more additions for you as you stop by, but last year had not been the "best" of years for me. My minds been on other things... but I've made a few resolutions of my own for 2003. The one that I can share here is that I will complete the four stories I have in the works... hidden away on my hard drive... and get them onto the Log.

Admiral Nelson invites everyone to the New Years Day Bash that he is throwing at the Nelson Institute. The party should begin around 5PM. He told me that it was going to start closer to noon, but the New Years "EVE" party that was held for crew members only got a little crazy. It looks like it's going to take a little longer than planned to get the place cleaned up enough for guests. Good time was had by ALL.

Reporters Wanted
Could use a little help here...
