After last weeks "trick" question... this weeks poll is simply this... How many people are still "talking" to me and how many think I should be required to spend some time in the "brig" for the trick question...

Seaview Galley

After a restful (but too short) shore leave it's back to the kitchen for me. Hope all you crewmates had a good holiday. The crew and officer's always need their sweet tooth satisfied so this week's is for :

• 2 C FLOUR
• 2 EGGS
• 2 C SUGAR
• 2 TSP SODA
• 1 TSP VANILLA
• 1 LARGE CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
• 1/C CHOPPED NUTS (I use pecans)

BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER . POUR INTO GREASED 9 X 13 PAN. BAKE AT ABOUT 330 DEG FOR 30 MINUTES. TEST THE MIDDLE WITH A KNIFE. WHEN IT COMES OUT CLEAN CAKE IS DONE. (watch cake closely near the end of baking time) TAKE CAKE OUT AND LET COOL. (here's what makes it good)

• 1 8 OZ SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
• 1 TSP VANILLA
• 1 STICK OF BUTTER (not margarine)

BEAT UNTIL BLENDED. SLOWLY BEAT IN 1-1/2 TO 2 CUPS OF POWDERED SUGAR . (the more powdered sugar you add the more frosting you get to put on the cake!) SPREAD ON COOLED CAKE.

Well, the Chief is at it again... "no, you can't just eat the frosting..."

Lasts weeks "poll" was more of a question. You were asked, "which one of our crew spent the most time in sick bay?" and I received some interesting answers. Of course, the most popular answer was Captain Crane with Kowalski and Patterson also being suggested. Then there was the email sent saying that they thought it was a "trick" question... Well, I must admit... they're right. It was a trick question. So... which one of our crew spent the most time in sickbay? Doc... of course...
